God is the Only Way.

Every where you go today there are always self hate messages. Don't like your weight? Guess what, diet pills and supplements can change your body fast and effectively. Don't like your face? Go get make-up. I'm here to put an end to it for myself personally. The only real way to do that is to accept yourself for who you are and how God created you. We've all heard the expression "God doesn't make mistakes", and guess what. It's TRUE.

You were created by God who has a purpose for you. Point blank. When your mother and father created you God knew exactly what he was doing and how he was going to use you to administer his truth to others. One of my personal favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For i know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope." this verse brings out the very essence of our Christian faith. We are all called to freely give our lives over to God and do exactly what he wants of us. When you achieve this, you achieve self love. You see, not only have you reached a point in your life where you can say my way is Your way, oh God, but you can see yourself the way God sees you. God sees you as full of worth and beautiful. God wouldn't create someone or something that was worthless. We are all brought on this earth to somehow better the people around us. It's not always easy to follow the will of God with all the distractions of today's society and views of person. Only with God can we achieve what our hearts really desire.Take Saint Therese of Liseaux for example. She was denied many times the opportunity to become a sister. Through much persistence and prayer she was finally allowed to enter the convent. I think more of today's generations, myself included, need this kind of dedication to God's will. As she said " Oh, how sweet the way of love! Oh, how I wish to always do the will of God with no restraints." I strive to always have the attitude of this beautiful woman. Who's with me?
